After giving this some thought, if everything was clean as you say, and
clutch "slip", it brings to mind two possibilities.
One, is sort of obvious. Did you check the slave cylinder to be sure you
didn't get hydraulic fluid on disc.
Second, when you installed the clutch disc, was the long side of the
center spline facing in or out? It should be out (toward tranzmixer)
If it was inadvertantly installed facing inward, it would cause the
problems you describe. Can also come apart real fast.
With an assembly of "planet" gears and hubs, it is highly unlikely the
o/d could "slip".
Just some thoughts to help you lose sleep.
