Peter,
I'm in process of rebuilding the rear of my Herald and will be
installing some sort of camber compensator device to prevent possible
rollovers from the rear swing axle extending too far down when I get up
on three (wheels that is). I plan on autocrossing this car so it's a
real consideration. What make is your compensator? I've heard bad
things about the StanPart unit. I'm in the process of researching this
very subject so I'd be interested in whatever you come up with. Maybe
there are some competition experts on the list who will enlighten us on
how to make these things really corner.
In a related query does anyone have an opinion on adjustable shocks?
Are they necessary or could I just use some stiff non-adjustable units
on this go kart I'm building?
Thanks,
John Matthews
