Ken and others, if you are looking for items that the military uses,
you can try the "Defense Reutilization Management Office" we military
folks call it the DRMO. Ken, with you being in the Richmond are, try
FT Lee in Petersburg, Ft Eustis down by Willamsburg, or the General
Support Activity Warehouse in Richmond. They should all have a DRMO
office. Give them a call for information on what and when sales are.
For aircraft landing mat, I would try FT Eustis, home of Army
Transportation. If you want any more info let me know. BTW, this is
a good way to get workbenches, engine stands etc. I have picked up 3
workbenches at auction for about $30.00 each, good heavyduty ones,
also got my dad a stand he was able to modify into a super heavy duty
engine stand for about $20.00. this is also a good place to get
office furniture. Remember, anybody can buy from DRMO, and your tax
dollars paid for the stuff originally. Later, Chris
