Well, guess what? The noise went away after I changed the water pump and then drove it a few miles. The infamous fan clutch seems to have a litte play in it and I think that may have been the problem after replacing the waterpump (which was DEFINITELY bad) Anyhow all seems well, for the time being. If the noise returns, I guess I'll go for the clutch!?!?! Cheers and Happy Motoring bob |
