I believe these appeared on the Mk 3 GT6; however, they're fairly easy to fit to earlier cars that have the same style air cleaner. I added them to my GT6+ - but some appropriate hose (I used Aeroquip "CAT") and some nice hose clamps, run it forward of the radiator to cool air. My experience was that they made a fairly big difference - where I used to get ping on hot days, even with the Jet-Hot coated header, these hoses made the ping go completely away. The GT6 engine compartment gets *really* hot, and every little bit helps. |
