Probably!!!

Just last night I swapped my Front left verticle link(as it was bent), so I had
to swap the top ball joint. I have NO ball joint splitter except for my trusty
little hammer, so I clouted the sides of the verticle link through which the
ball joint bolts, and out it popped, easy as that. I must stress though, that
I have done this before without any luck, that included using a blow torch to
heat it up aswell!! So maybe I was lucky :-)

I doubt they'll give up, I've had sets left like this for years, and they have
yet to explode, although mine are safely stored in the boot(trunk) of my
beloved dead Morris Minor so if they do 'go', I'll be lookin' for a new boot
lid for it :-)
Good luck
Rich
