As part of dressing up the TR for the VTR Convention in Albany this coming
summer, I plan to re-paint the exhaust manifold. I did this about three
years ago, along with the exhaust pipe leading from the manifold to the
resonator, but the paint has flaked off enough to make it look sick. I
thought I prepared these parts pretty well and used high temperature paint,
but I guess I did something wrong. Anyone know of a sure fire way to do this
right? I'm not thinking about porcelainizing (correct terminology?) the
parts, just painting them. I've been told to use Plasti-Cote brand paint
this time, any comments?
