most of the electric pumps on the market are designed to push, not pull fuel, hence their installation in back. Please do not put one inside the trunk, that can be a big hazard...look at either an in-the-tank type or put it inside the wheel-travel area near the rear end where nothing can hit it... Yes, they usually do a good job on vapor lock, but they won't help if a fuel line is laying on an exhaust manifod or some such... |
