GT6+ and the six-cylinder engine from TR....

After having attended the British Car Day in San Antonio here in south
Texas, I learned about the possibility of putting in a 2.5 litre engine from
a TR. - is there anybody on the list that has had experience with this? Is
it true that they use the same block - or is the same head? 

It would be nice to go from 104 hp (GT6) to that 150 hp (???)  of the 2.5
litre engine.....
