I've come to the conclusion that, due to space, money and time constraints,
I've unfortunately got to get rid of
one of my cars. So here is the choice:
No 1: A partially rebuilt Herald 12/50. Most of the chassis and underbody
work has been done. The body is
back on the chassis but needs final alignment. Most other parts, including
some new ones, are there. New fuel
and brake pipes (copper with reinforced steel hoses on brakes). Seats and
sunroof in excellent condition. In
other words, it's a d.i.y kit.
I would like around £200 for the whole lot. I am willing to break it for
spares but I would like to see the major
body parts go first 'cos they take up the most room.
No.2: The alternative is to sell my 2500S Estate, 1977, Flamenco red. A lot
of work has been done to the car this
year and it's mot'd until July 1996. It has new stainless exhaust, radiator,
copper brake pipes and handbrake
cables. The rear suspension, driveshafts and propshaft have all been rebuilt.
It still requires some work to the
right front wing corner (panel supplied) plus a few smaller areas. The major
work has been done. There are also
a large amount of new spares (rear lights, mudflaps, pas pump, anti-roll bar
links, oil filters etc.) and some
secondhand. Also has electronic ignition, spin-on oil filter conversion,
reinforced tiebars and diff nose. Tyres
are v. good and the interior is in excellent condition. This would, to say the
very least, be a reluctant sale. Price
around £1250.
So, if anyone is interested please contact me.
