All,
The distributer in our TR3 is tired. In an attempt to keep the car as
original as possible, I need either a source for a distributer or a
recommendation for a shop to rebuild the original. The distributer is the
"old style" with the screw-on (as opposed to the push-on blade) low voltage
coil connection. I understand that this style distributer is no longer
available.
At a recent car show, a vendor indicated he would send our distributer
to a "shop in Philedelphia" for a rebuild for $79.95. I've no idea of the
quality of the work nor if this is a reasonable price.
Finally, please respond to the list as the adress recognition software
used here is antiquated and recognizes few email adresses. Thank you for your
help and direction.
