Help!
My '74 TR6 is burining alot of oil, which is starting to get embarrassing
when I pull up at stop lights only to be engulfed seconds later by a cloud
of smoke. The rate of consumption is roughly 0.75 litre per 160 Kms (100 mi).
My question is: What tests can I perform to determine the source of the
problem(s)? My first _guess_ is the valve guides and seats. But it may
also be the rings...
Could someone who has done engine rebuilds please put forth his/her two
cents worth. I'd like to try and do the rebuild myself, so spare no
details!
Thanks in advance,

PS Does anyone else scream "NOUVEAU RICHE!" every time they see a Miyata?...
or is it only me?
