The time has come to replace the exhaust system on a 1975 Spitfire. The car
is stock. The options are an Ansa vs. stainless steel system. Anyone have
any comments regarding ease of installation, merits, changing the sound of
the exhaust note, etc? Also, regarding the Ansa system, is there any reason
other than cosmetic, why they terminate the exhaust system with 4 chromed
outlets? There's a third option I haven't considered because I haven't
found a source. A mild steel version of the exhaust system. From what's
been posted, I gather that this sells for nearly the cost of the stainless
system. Anyone have a source/price?
