I'm confused. What rubber parts are you referring to above? Can't be the
brake components (near as I can tell) because the repair manuals tell one to
lubricate the rubber seals with clean brake fluid before installation. If
you're referring to the other rubber pieces-parts (grommets, etc.) then I
would agree.

IMHO, damage done by wrong fluids is no greater (or less) than damage done by
not maintaining the brake fluids at all. (Not to mention the clutch
hydraulics...)
