how much carburation you use depends on what other work you do to the motor.
If left stock, use the S.U.s.
Consider seriously the 2.5 swap, yes I know you said no, but it sure is a
cheap way to get lots more power...I wouldn't turn up my nose at a quick
500cc (25%) increase in displacement unless I was sitting on a VERY expensive
engine installed already....
