I'm getting 31mpg in my '77 and it seems to run pretty good. This is on the hiway, around town it drops to 25 or so. However, a friend of mine has the original carb on his '79 and he claims to get 40. Oh BTW I've got a Weber DGV (manual choke), headers, no smog stuff also.
