Ditto that request for TR-4's. Wheel bolt pattern specifications and offset
stuff.
A friend had some early 6 cyl mustang (65 or 66) wheels widened for his TR-3.
They are 14" wheels, but with hughmongous tires on them. Pretty interesting
looking.
I know Ford still uses the 4 bolt pattern on some of their newer cars. My dad
's Turbo T-bird had 4 bolt wheels.
Any help would be useful. Trying to shop for aftermarket wheels and saying
"they are for a '85 T-bird," will get you farther than saying they are for a
'64 TR-4.
Anyone wanting to share wheel stories is invited. Is there a reason that
Moss and TRF sell a 5.5" wide wheel for 4 cyl TR's and 6" wide ones for 6 cyl
TR's? Is there a clearance problem?
Thanks in advance
