The main reason that the ends of the heater core tend to bulge out is that
folks run the cooling system at a pressure above the OEM design pressure.
Stock radiator cap is 13 PSI. Many folks run a 16 PSI cap. If you're
running a 16 PSI system would recommend that you go with the Specialties
core.
