Joe

Many times when electrical things do not work correctly it is due to poor g=
round or poor connections at the switch.

Purple / White wire is listed on wire diagram for the door switches to the =
interior light.

Subject: [Tigers] Wiper Question

Hi,

I got caught out in the rain yesterday and had to use the wipers. Everythi=
ng worked fine at first; I could turn them on and off as needed. But then =
it got where the wipers would not turn off. With the switch in the off pos=
ition the wipers seem to go into a third, slower speed. Kind of like the in=
termittent setting on modern cars. I actually like this speed because it w=
as just lightly misting . After several minutes they would eventually sto=
p. And then occasionally it would start up again on its own.

I found a similar issue on the SAOCA website and the answer was related to=
a "stop wire". Can somebody tell me where to find that wire? I've looked=
all around the wiper motor but can't seem to find it.

Another question: While looking at the wires going to the wiper motor I not=
iced a wire coming out of the wiring harness right next to the wiper wires =
that is not hooked up to anything. It is purple with a white stripe and th=
ere is nothing anywhere close to it that it would hook up to. I've looked =
at the wiring diagram and can't find a match. See the photo below.

Can anybody tell me what that purple/white wire would go to?

Thanks,

Joe Brown
