operated three (3) separate foundries. It ends up that Darcast was not the n=
ame of any foundry. Rather Dartmouth Auto Castings used the<b> DART</b=
> in Dartmouth and the <b>CAST</b> in Castings to create its logo: <b>DarCas=

An October 1951 print advertisement (attached to this message) clearly show=
s the Darcast logo. Also attached is another print ad from 1965. =

umber "DA21120." I looked at some of the other exhaust manifolds the c=
ompany produced, and they also have unique identifiers starting with "DA."&n=
bsp; I submit: "<b>DA</b>" was likely used as the prefix of "<b>D</b>artmout=
h <b>A</b>uto" part numbers.<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=3D"Mso=
