Years of V8 starter current finally took it's toll on my battery cut off
switch, and it sometimes took a little fiddling and wiggling to get a good
enough contact to start the Tiger. Thankfully I could not find a
replacement at a recent auto racing flea market, where I'd seen many the
previous year.

Why thankfully? Because it drove me to Amazon, where there are dozens
available. After rejecting any that didn't provide specifications, I
noticed something odd. The specified max currents for those black plastic
switches cover quite a wide range, anywhere from 10 Amps to hundreds of
amps, in switches that look essentially the same. For reference, 10 Amps
is about two headlights worth of current, well short of the starter current
draw. One of those wouldn't last very long.

So I ended up ordering one that's rated for 300A continuous, 1000A
intermittent. About $15. It is a bit larger than my old black plastic
switch, but I got it into the same location with a bit of fiddling.
