I have it on good authority(Paul Reisentz) that Tigers never came with the
return spring.
When I bought B94790622 in 1971 it already had one.
If you don't have a return spring, you have a self-adjusting clutch which IIRC
the shop manual says
it is..?
Mine has a hole punched in the frame rail for the spring, no tab, rivets or
anything. My spring is
much lighter than the ones Paul used to install but has always worked fine for
me.
