These are the new CAT offering.=C2=A0 I agree with Michael that the black a=
nd white pictures make it hard to tell.=C2=A0I think I would still use the =
inner coating if available. The outside in a silver or black as that was in=
period . Then there is anything applied in period was good for a very limi=
ted time before it looked like crap.=C2=A0I was always taking out the BBQ b=
lack hi temp paint on other car's.=C2=A0

Happy new year to all.
There is a technique called metal spray that I had applied to my stock exha=
ust headers, and it prevents rust without looking strange. I had them coate=
d with stainless steel when my engine was rebuilt, and it?s prevented any r=
ust from occurring. It simply looks like a new metal header, but without an=
y rust. I like it, but I?m not so much an absolute stickler for concourse o=
riginality.

Don't know about the LAT 73 headers, but "other" headers of the period wer=
e usually=C2=A0 satin black/semi gloss black from the manufacturer.

headers, and it prevents rust without looking strange. I had them coated wi=
th stainless steel when my engine was rebuilt, and it?s prevented any rust =

st. I like it, but I?m not so much an absolute stickler for concourse origi=
