Hey, Ron, et al:

With all this original clock talk, I=E2=80=99m now starting to wonder =
what clock I have in my Mk1A. Out of curiosity, I stepped out to my =
shop and looked at which clock I have. Mine looks exactly like yours, =
and it also says =E2=80=9CMade in U.K.=E2=80=9D at the bottom of the =
face but it has no model # (such as CE 3131/01, etc.). Do you have any =
idea what I might have here? BTW=E2=80=A6 I=E2=80=99m not the original =
owner of my car so I can=E2=80=99t say with any certainty that this =

I see where the 1229322 is listed as Electric Clock Kit; =
whereas the other Rootes Clock numbers are listed as Electric Clock. A =
small difference but maybe an important difference.
=20
I don=E2=80=99t know if the wording makes a difference or if maybe the =

Small differences should not be ruled out.

I hope you are all well and safe.
=20
I'm putting together an article for CAT Tiger Tales and am having =
difficulty sorting out the correct MkI model Smiths clock. The BON =
lists a 3030/00 as the appropriate model and what research I've located =
supports this. Trouble is I can't seem to find a photo of sufficient =
detail where I can read the model number. I'd greatly appreciate =
pictures of the 3030/00 models where the model number is visible.
=20
In addition, the only photo I did find with all the assigned attributes =
(sideways 3 & 9, red hands, adjustments at 4 & 8, Smiths logo below the =
clock center) is on a Smiths model CE3131/00 (see attached). So any =
group knowledge with references would be much appreciated
=20
I try to make these articles as accurate as the data allows.
There is enough erroneous data out there already.
Cheers,
Brian
