Didn=E2=80=99t your father say it was original paint?
Rootes did change 86 over the years.
My MK1 was originally a little darker than the
later Simca(Chrysler) code 86 (at least the
Dupont replacement ). Both are real close
though, Paul Reisentz used to call it
=E2=80=9Cmuddy=E2=80=9D. I call it a complex Euro color.=20
I much prefer it to a pure green
like Jaguar. To each his own ....
