I've had to toss quite a few tires with great tread because they were getti=
ng too old to trust and just don't ride or handle as well as they should. I=
n my opinion, there is absolutely no reason not to replace 36 year old tire=
s unless all you're doing is moving the car around the garage and up and do=
wn the driveway.
