Your correct about wire sets. =20
Some of them are generic sets which means they will most likely fit any =
small block Ford from 1962 onward and even a 351; the wires could be any =
length.

I have made my own wire sets or in some cases modified wire sets to make =
them fit better.

The last set I bought was from NPD =E2=80=93 Ford wire set for 260 =
engine =E2=80=93 going for that original look and they fit very nicely.

I agree that the plug wires never seem to fit perfectly. I ordered a =
custom set from A specialty shop and had them cut the wires 12 inches =
longer that standard. I asked them to only terminate the spark plug end =
and leave the distributor end unterminated. Then I custom fit them and =
using a purpose built crimp tool, I added the brass end terminals.=20
Tomorrow I will send you the end result on my Series 200 Griffith if =
you=E2=80=99d like to see it.=20
It is definitely worth the time to do it right and custom cut each plug =
wire.=20
