In the article that was referenced it should give the Ford part # for the
threaded piece. Yrs. ago I had to call a few dealers to find one that had it
in stock. I also use the PH3600 filter. Works great with no adjustments
necessary.

Mine looks exactly like this from Summit:

_Ford Performance Parts M-6880-A50 - Ford Racing Oil Filter Adapters_
(http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-6880-a50/overview/)
And that Ford part number rings a bell, too. Remember, you also need a
double threaded piece to go into the block, and attach a filter or the
adapter. I run the FL400 (Fram PH3600) size filter. It looked like I'd have
to
grind a bit of the motor mount away to fit a PH8A. Same thread, seal,
pressure relief specs, etc.

Hello all,

I promised myself that this is the year that I'd switch to the Ford sport
right angle oil filter bracket

I believe Summit and Jegs has this item but...

What do I ask for to get the exact right thing? I want to keep the
original parts and old filter in place, tie off the old lines and secure them
to
maintain original appearance from the top, and install the new filter bracket
on the engine.

What am I looking for, please? Any information appreciated.
