Richard
If you have the original Mk II 289 it was assembled in April of =
1966.
You would therefore not have a C8OE-6750-C, a 1968 part. available to =
the
original engine.
=20
I do not have a Ford part # listing for the Mk II dipstick and tube just =
the
Rootes # - 6100734 - dipstick, 6100855 - tube
=20
6100734 is the supersede # of 1224808 - this should be C4JZ-6750-A
6100855 is a new # but these parts come in matched pairs so this should =
be
C2OZ-6754-A
=20
Mk II 289 including filter and cooler 11.4 US pints
=20
Does your dip stick indicate correctly?
If so what is it's length and the length of the tube?
=20

I've been wondering about oil capacity too. The dip stick on my 67 =
MKII
289 has a ford part number C80E-6750-C. Anybody know if this is =
correct?
