<<A bunch of years back I read in the newsletter from the British club, that one of their members was vintage racing a Tiger. The class demanded stock EVERYTHING, including wheels. He uncovered an old memo, service bulletin or something like that, wherein Rootes recommended against using stock Tiger wheels for ANY form of motorsports...> Once upon a time, the Northern California Sports Car Council (NCSCC) outright banned the stock wheel for any class. In Appendix A of their rule book for 1990, a section titled Sunbeam Tigers stated in paragraph 2: The stock 4.5 inch wheel is prohibited.
