Jim
Could you be more specific on the spare you bought. Size, make and =
all.
By space-saver do you mean the ones you have to be inflated before use?
=20
The Temporary spare in my 1988 Mustang is a T135/70D16 with a diameter =
of
23" - I'm not sure if the center hole will fit I did not pull it out of =
the
car.
=20
The Temporary spare in my 1991 Escort is a T155/70D14 with a diameter of =
20"
- center hole is too small to fit Tiger front hub
=20
I have another Temporary spare possibly from a 93 Escort wagon that is a
P155/80D13 with a diameter of 22" - Tiger front hub fits this wheel.
This one is closest to the Tiger tire size.
=20
The lug nut stud holes in all of these are larger than the Tiger so you
would have to be careful mounting this type spare.
=20
As with any alternate spare it has to fit the Tiger Front hub and you =
need
to be careful about the lug stud hole size on the wheel.

At the United in Rockland, ME, I bought a Mustang space-saver spare. =
PLENTY
of room.

It will get me off the highway and to help. That's all we really need, =
Still
have original spare but wouldn't want to trust it. Too old !
