Subject: [Tigers] 1966 MK 1A Tiger questions
Hello all,
=20
Questions abound while trying to put the 1966 MK 1A 2193 Tiger back
together.
=20
1. Hood latch is it body color or other=20
2. Hood release, is it cable or rod and if rod, how to attach to
release - special clevis pin.=20
3. Grill center badge bracket - what does bottom of bracket bolt to=20
4. Brill center badge bracket - body color or gloss black=20
5. Trunk or engine area - are there any lights or is only light inside
the glove box=20
6. Blower switch location in dash. #1 aux lamp if fitted - far left
hole in dash.=20
7. Blower motor - single or 2 speed=20
8. Defroster vent hoses fit 'inside' of metal vents - how held in place
- clamps or tape and if tape diameter and color.=20
9. Slide temp control and floor defroster settings - how are they held
in place=20
10. Wood dash tapered heads to hold dash in place - Phillips tapered
head, 1-1/2 or 1-1/4 inch long - are these stainless steel. SS sells =
the
far right one but not sure of the others.=20
11. Wood dash - steering column area - 1 hole on either side of column
opening - what are they for.=20
12. Lower valance - 2 captive nuts on either side of center opening -
what are they for.=20
13. Passenger lower front fender, there are 2 holes in body - 1 small
then a larger one just beneath - what goes here.
=20
When it takes a number of years to reconstruct, memory fades and with
multiple folks not taking picture and notes while I had to work - my =
fault,
so thanks in advance.
Joel Martin
