Chrysler did only put them on the right side and I believe that it had
to do with visibility. On the right side when parallel parked passerbys
would see it on a Plymouth or Dodge and recognize that it was a
Chrysler product. On the left side or traffic side they wouldn't be
noticed. And it saved a few pennies.
