Sorry...I goofed up.  It was brought to my attention after I made my post that 
the boot that is being referred to is the clutch fork boot off the side of the 
bell housing, not the shifter boot insde the car on the transmission tunnel.  
Guess I didn't read the posting close enough.  Again, sorry for the confusion.
