My deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad. He will always be
remembered by the Tiger community as one of those in the forefront of
preserving
the cars and enjoying them.
I will dedicate my first drive of the season to him.

Hi guys,
Sadly, my dad passed away last night. I was able to read every one of your
emails to him. He even had me go back and reread them. So, from me, thank
you to all of you who wrote and gave comfort to him in his last days.
As many of you know, I got my Alpine over 35 years ago, and have owned it
and
restored it twice. I helped my dad get his Tiger in the first place - and
taught him everything I knew about Sunbeams (note, I will not say
everything
HE knew about Sunbeams!). So, I will do what I can to keep the Tigers
United
website going. Ironically, although my undergraduate degree was Computer
Science, I ended up in law school - which means that while I can handle
anyone's business legal issues, working on a web site is going to be a
learning experience.
Finally, if there is anything to come from this, let it be that you get out
and enjoy your cars, and drive them into the ground before you get there
yourself!!!!!!!!!
