I recall my first exposure to Steve was the TigersUnited.com website. I
thought that was brilliant and contacted him to say so. I thought what a great
guy to do so much for the benefit of the Tiger/Sunbeam community at large just
for the sake of doing so. I wish we could have met in person, but I'm glad we
knew each other through e-mails and the Tiger List.

Jay, thanks so much for
reaching out earlier so we had a chance to send a note to your dad.

Hi guys,

Sadly, my dad
passed away last night.  I was able to read every one of your
emails to him. 
He even had me go back and reread them.  So, from me, thank
you to all of you
who wrote and gave comfort to him in his last days.

As many of you know, I
got my Alpine over 35 years ago, and have owned it and
restored it twice.  I
helped my dad get his Tiger in the first place - and
taught him everything I
knew about Sunbeams (note, I will not say everything
HE knew about
Sunbeams!).  So, I will do what I can to keep the Tigers United
website
going.  Ironically, although my undergraduate degree was Computer
Science, I
ended up in law school - which means that while I can handle
anyone's business
legal issues, working on a web site is going to be a
learning experience.
Finally, if there is anything to come from this, let it be that you get out
and enjoy your cars, and drive them into the ground before you get there
yourself!!!!!!!!!
