It is my experience that the bullet racing mirrors typically available have an
inadequate plating job and begin to pit after a few years.
If you want this style be sure to purchase stainless steel such as the TEX or
Talbot mirrors. However the mounting holes do not align with the lesser quality
mounts. While in the body shop have your current holes welded shut and start
fresh with one of the higher quality mirrors.
