I seem to recall a picture of such a car with the story being that the Tiger
had been rear ended and an earlier Alpine rear end grafted on. That would have
been no problem except that the Tiger owner then sold the car as a rare
prototype.

Somewhere in Tigerdom there was a person who liked the older look better and
grafted the fins onto his Tiger. Can't remember where I read it. Hopefully
someone can contribute.
Hummm.., I wonder if the Alpine crowd got on his case for trying to create a
"Tipine." :-)
