I've never been too concerned about these types of security issues. But since
they've been raised and my car is occasionally left parked outside while
touring, I wondered whether anyone has devised a relatively simple way of
preventing the hood release from activating? It may be easy to accomplish.
I've just never looked with that objective in mind.

When I had my Tiger, I used a McGard security lock, similar to their wheel
lock style except it was a 1/4" or 5/16" nut. You could also possibly use or
adapt a McGard wire wheel cover lock, if they are still available. If you
can't find one, I may have one in my collection.
