The rear spring perch is an area that all Tiger owners should
inspect regularly. I can almost guarantee that there will be stress cracks
there sometime.
I noticed mine in turn #10 at Watkins Glen when the tail wiggled
strangely 3 times; I went straight into the pits and retired for the day.
I drove the Tiger home later that day, jacked the rear up and could just see
some cracks in the undercoat and cracks in the metal underneath.
Have fun with the welding.

I hope to get all the welding done this weekend.
Plan on installing a drive shaft loop while I'm at it.
