I paid three hundred for mine ten years ago. Of course I had to fit new
windows, repair rust and paint. Then came the headliner.. I would have paid a
thousand for a good complete one. gary B9472283

Subject: [Tigers] Tiger Hardtop prices/market value

Hello All,
I would like a few opinions about hardtop prices based on given conditions.
Here are a few examples:
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/1964404336.html
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sunbeam-Tiger-Hardtop-Roof
<http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sunbeam-Tiger-Hardtop-Roof-Very-rare-/110586

Also, I emailed the fellow on ebay at one point and asked him for
clarification on the location of the hardtop and pricing. He said that he
asked the "tiger association" and "they" said tiger tops sell for 800 to
1500 bucks and suggested to him to price it at his asking price of 800 (
which ends in 12 hours with no current bids). So if we told him to price it
at that..then that brings me to my next question:
... Are unrestored hardtops with no glass and no trim really worth 800 to
1000 bucks? There was a Series V Alpine for sale here in Oklahoma City a few
months ago with a hardtop WITH GLASS and the entire car was listed for sale
for a grand.it was a pretty rough car but still, the top was there and
appeared as nice as these..I guess I should have jumped on it... Whoops!
