I just installed a U-Coat it system on my previously painted ten year old
floor. I stripped the floor and followed the directions. Stayed off the
floor for about 7 days ( directions say 24-48 hours for light traffic). I just
finished it about three weeks ago and have not had any bad experiences so
far. I dragged a heavy metal shelf set across it and saw no marks from the
legs. Cost me $475 for about 700 square feet of floor.

Andy,
No sooner am I asking Sandy to pipe in on your behalf then he beats me to
it.
He's the first person I'd think of to use show garage flooring, and he says
he has a cement floor, as I do!!! (Mine's about 15 years old, still looks
new
but not easy to clean up fluids).
If you're still intent on floor tile for the garage, Griot's Garage -
Seattle
area www.griotsgarage.com offers a number of choices, each with size
covered,
how much weight each allows, and whether it's good for working on or just
for
show.
