Mauro and Jim

I used some of that silvered plastic bubble sheet insulation between
the top and the liner. Although I don't think there is a need to sound
deaden the top, it can't hurt.

OK, you both keep the liner you pulled out, RIGHT? I'll state this
again; never ever throw a Tiger part out, it is your only link to that part
and how it was installed.

I was going to replace my headliner with one I purchased from CAT.
I inspected my original and found it had black dots on the headline and the
CAT material was perforated. I believe both are correct but my original was
in fairly good shape and cleaned up with the use of some Blech-wite side
wall cleaner.

Also I quickly discovered that you really need the original
headliner for a pattern which also drove me to restore the original
material. There is an order to the bows for the headliner too. You made a
note of which color was where?

Here is a note I sent to the List in 1998.

I found this info in a CAT newsletter Volume 10 - #7.

    Headliner bows front to rear;

        Blue
        Unmarked
        Red
        Yellow

Since my headliner was out, I also checked those bows.

        Blue
        Green
        Red
        Yellow

I hope this is correct .

The rear Plexi needs to be assembled before placing on the top. Put the
rear window in the weather-strip, install the SS trim then put it on the
hard top.

I can try and get some pictures tomorrow.

I have the exact same dilemma. I also removed the interior of my hardtop
some time ago without photographing it first and bought Sunbeam Specialties'
headliner with no instructions. I have no clue how to put it back together
and would really appreciate detailed pictures so I can try to do it. The
leading edge and the rear posts are the main concerns for me. Thanks in
advance if someone would please help me too. Cheers. Mauro
