DW,
The difference is not in the heat range they are the same. The difference
is in the electrode. The 45 has an extended electrode the 46 does not. The
reach on both is the same.

Subject: [Tigers] Spark plugs
A recent spark plug purchase has brought heat range availability into
question.
A bought Autolite 45 (old BRF 42) and 46 (old BRF 82).
Been a long time since I bought any 45s.
I could not tell which one is the hotter plug!
They look the same!
Looks like Autolite has changed their 45 plug?
Anyone been down this road recently?
...or noticed their 45s are hotter then they should be?
