After puking the radiator onto the Left front tire of my Tiger in
turn 7, a Right turn, at Watkins Glen Race Track; we made it mandatory every
car have a catch can for radiator overflow for the Track Event. I had a
windshield washer bottle and holder from a parts car so I mounted them in
the left corner of my Tiger and just squeezed the bottle by the header tank
and the radiator. I put the overflow tube into the bottle with a little
bit of antifreeze and it has been catching and flowing fluid back and forth
for 20 years now. I did not change the stock cap on the header tank.
Works for me.

has anyone tried putting a plastic bottle with the air squeezed out on the
end of the overflow tube from the header tank?

if the hose is sealed into the bottle will it suck water back into the
header tank when it cools down (or you change altitude), or is it not sealed
properly at the neck of the header tank?

i'd be interested in hearing about any sealed cooling system modifications
people are using.

thanks.
