Don't know if this helps with this thread or not? I needed a couple of
these for a '34 Ford and could find the proper head from several supplies,
but all with a 10-32 tread while I needed an 8-32. I bought some 10-32s,
ground down the treads and use an 8-32 die to apply new treads.

Tigers,
I made an inquiry to DOT Fasteners regarding stainless screw threads.
This is their reply:
/"Steve,
The Lift-the-DOT screw studs are not manufactured in all stainless. The
stud head is brass nickel plated and the screw is stainless. Please let
me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks,
Tonia Hanley
