No first hand experience. But, there are a few things to consider. The
rack has a faster steering ratio that may make turning (especially at low
speeds) more difficult. This would be compounded if you have a smaller
steering wheel.
I actually attempted the conversion myself, but unknowingly bought the
later model rack. This rack will actually bolt right to the Tiger location
with some spacers (or washers) using the Midget mounts. A problem arises in
that the later rack has smaller rods and I didn't know of any part available
to adapt the smaller size to the appropriate tie rod ends. I now have a
small lathe, so someday, maybe... .
I did install the MGB steering arms. If they don't come with Dale's kit
(or his kit doesn't have them slotted) file the bolt hole that needs to be
elongated in a way that put the arm forward. While minor every little bit
helps.
