Hi Jim
I removed my frame a few years ago to paint it and install a new windshield.
During that process I must have had that frame in every position including
upside down. Those nuts float a little in a capture fixture that keeps them in
place. I had no problem putting it back together other than getting the
windshield in.
Good luck

I'm nearly finished stripping everything off Tigger prior to his date
with the
paint shop. My question concerns the windshield frame. The rearview
mirror
and top latches screw into floating pieces inside the frame. Can these
pieces
move laterally enough to cause a problem? Do I need to keep bolts in
them to
keep them in position? Or is there movement limited enough to stay
put? I'd
rather not learn the hard way. Thanks.
