Just dynoed my car - 275hp @ 4700 rpm at the wheels. It was still
pulling but the engine was vibrating so much that the guy didn't want
to go to higher rpms. Didn't adjust the timing either. Will do that
after I put in a new clutch and flywheel to try and resolve the
vibrations.
The first job was to adjust the throttle lingage and bend the pedel up
to get full throttle on the carb. Then get the secondary barrels
working - float was sticking and inlet valve not correctly set. Tweek
the mixture at idle a little leaner and hey presto 120 to 275.
so after the clutch over for over 300.
