i believe that was the second issue i ever had with the car! those
two bolts worked loose during my drive home from buying the car and
the shifter came off. pretty sure my replacements are still in tight
as i checked them about 6 months ago in a casual investigation into
this issue.
i just ordered the trunion/spring set from SS...
